Our Management Team

Director of Operations and Marketing: Kelly E. Wacker

Kelly joined the Kearney team in April of 2018 as Director of Operations and Marketing. She works closely with the management team to streamline operations and heads the marketing division.

Kelly received her BA from Truman State and graduated with honors from Mid America Paralegal Institute with a certificate in paralegal studies. She comes to Kearney with a strong operations, marketing and IT background as well as legal.

Kelly resides in Kirkwood and is married with six children. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and restoring their 1895 historic house.

Chief Financial Officer: Jack Hoeman

Mr. Hoeman is a graduate of Bradley University with a degree in Marketing.

He has been with Kearney & Associates since the beginning in 1999 and has seen the company grow into its present entity.

Jack and his wife Sally have 12 grandchildren who keep them very busy. They enjoy Billiken Basketball and the Cardinals … when thay are winning.

Field Supervisor: Bill Hamby

Bill and his wife Linda, an elementary school teacher, attend the Incarnate Word Church in Chesterfield.

“Hambone” as we like to call him, has a B.S. degree from Southeast Missouri State University and an M.A. from Webster University, both in Accounting.

He has been with Kearney & Associates since 2002. Bill is an extremely effective field supervisor along with managing the equipment and supplies for the company.

Field Supervisor: John Thum

John Thum is a former Director of Technology and Data Center Manager with over thirty years of IT experience. John is a St. Louis native and graduated from Rockhurst University with a degree in Computer Science and Accounting. He also has an MBA in Finance from St. Louis University.

He has been married to his college sweetheart since 1983 and they have two grown children and three grandchildren.

In John’s spare time, he likes to watch the Cardinals and hang out with his family and friends. He is also very active in his parish and heads the Knights of Columbus annual fish fry.

Owner/Founder: Michael C. Kearney

Michael Kearney founded the firm in 1990. Mike’s credentials include; a design-build Engineer for computer rooms, a registered Professional Engineer, a licensed Electrical Contractor and a manufacturer’s rep in the HVAC field. Our engineered approach to cleaning secured our first clients and we have learned to rely on the varied backgrounds of all of our associates to observe and avoid technical pitfalls in the rooms we serve. Mike is involved in ASHRAE, the Kirkwood Area Chamber, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, and the Kirkwood Historical Society. He and his wife Jo love to travel and have visited Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Alaska and Hawaii. Michael retired in 2016.
